Rhonda is the founder of GovCon Synergies and leads the firm’s business development and strategic direction. With more than 30 years of experience in accounting and government contracting, she specializes in providing financial compliance solutions to small and mid-sized government contractors.
Rhonda supports clients with outsourced Controller and CFO services, Unanet implementations, system consulting, optimization strategies, and comprehensive GovCon compliance and audit readiness. She brings deep expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), incurred cost submissions (ICS), provisional billing rates, indirect rate structures, cost proposal support, and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit support.
A hands-on and results-driven leader, Rhonda has held senior financial management roles at several regional federal contractors, overseeing accounting departments for firms ranging in size from $1 million to $50 million in annual revenue. Earlier in her career, she worked at a regional public accounting firm. She has served on the advisory board for George Mason University’s Women in Business Initiative and on the Government Contractor Committee of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GSWCPA).
Rhonda is passionate about mentoring small businesses to navigate the complex GovCon landscape.
